About Me

I am a final-year PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, supervised by Mark Steedman. My research interests lie in the field of Natural Language Processing, especially in the area of Natural Language Inference. I am also interested in LLM hallucination, RAG and the role of natural language inference in these tasks. Check out my publications for more details :)

I am dedicated to the development of open-source resources. I have developed a few open-source projects, including Chinese Fine-grained Entity Typing (Code and Dataset!), Chinese OpenIE, and a Chinese Entailment Graph.

Before joining EdinburghNLP, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Peking University, where I was advised by Prof. Sujian Li in the Key Lab of Computational Linguistics. Check out their website for more information 😃

In informal occasions, I like to go by the name Teddy, but do search for TIANYI LI for my publications! Personally, I am a big fan of road trips and cycle touring. Check out the selected images below!
